An insurance or bond could lapse and we'd find out too late

Expiry dates tracked nowhere, renewals left to the broker.

You are here: Somewhere in the file, an expiry date is approaching unwatched.

What's happening?

Policies, bonds and warranties run on their own calendars, unrelated to the programme: a policy renews mid-job, a bond expires against a date fixed years ago, a warranty depends on conditions nobody has looked at since signing. The documents live in the contract file and the dates live nowhere, so a lapse makes no sound. It is discovered on the day something demands the certificate: an incident, a payment condition, a handover.

By then the options are bad, because a gap in cover can put you in breach of the contract, hold up money, or leave an exposure that was supposed to be insured sitting on your own account. The fix is a register: every document listed, every expiry and renewal date lifted out of the small print, tracked ahead of time, and the renewals chased before the gap can open.

The solution

One register, every date watched.
