Do not claim off-site materials without the vesting pack

Off-site materials are only worth claiming when ownership, separation, identification and insurance can all be proved, because that is what the other side will test. Assemble the vesting certificate, the transfer paperwork, the storage and marking arrangement and the insurance cover before the claim goes in. Without the pack the claim gets refused, or worse, made and then clawed back when the supplier goes unpaid.
