How it works

Mirror the application

You enter the applicant's cumulative figures, then your own assessment per line, on exactly the same structure.

Reasons required

Any line assessed below the application turns red until a reason is given: the basis of calculation the Act requires.

Timing watched

The template warns when the notice is dated more than 5 days after the Due Date and may be out of time.

Why it is laid out this way

The summary computes the Notified Sum on the same gross and retention structure as the application, so the two documents reconcile to the penny. Prints as one A4 page.

An Excel template with no macros. Only the yellow cells can be edited, the Guide tab explains every step, and it prints on A4. Your contract's terms override the statutory defaults.
