Set-Off Response Schedule

Deductions answered one by one stop being a wall.

Every deduction listed, answered and priced. One row per contra-charge they have taken: what they say it is, what the contract requires before it can be taken, what the records show, your response and the sum you accept, if any, so a page of deductions becomes a schedule of individual arguments, most of which can be won.

How it works

Each deduction on its own merits

A lump of contra-charges survives on bulk; itemised, each one has to justify itself. The schedule forces the split, and the weak ones tend not to survive being written down next to the contract's requirements.

Your response, priced

Against every item you record accept, reject or part-accept, with the sum and the reason. The totals build themselves, and the schedule becomes the response you send.

An Excel template with no macros. Only the yellow cells can be edited, the Guide tab explains every step, and it prints on A4. Your contract's terms come first.
